Fronted Adverbials Work

We've been learning about fronted adverbial clauses in our English 'Grammar Friday' lessons recently. It was a new colour for us and we had to remember a few things...

They must....Start with a subordinating conjunction (When, While, Although, If, As etc...), they must have a verb within their clause and they need a comma at the end of the clause to stop it bumping into the main part of the sentence.

Our work was amazing and using the fronted adverbial clauses helped us to add so much information to our writing!

Here's an example of our sentences...

While her mother prepared the animal skins, Om went to the cave.
