Fundraising in School

2020 was a year of fewer fundraising opportunities due to COVID restrictions. However, this didn't stop us doing what we could. The following charities benefited from your efforts:

 

Sports Relief - £233

Miles for Refugees £105

Children in Need - £355.48

Wish Upon a Star - £376.34

Save the Children - £376.35

 

Total - £1446.17 - Thank you all

 

Funds were also raised by the PTA, which as well as covering DARE etc. paid for an additional set of class tablets. Thank you to everyone involved.

2019 was another fantastic year of fundraising in school. Amounts raised for each charity were as follows:

 

NSPCC - £1559.63

Red Nose Day - £235.30

The Brain Tumour Charity - 548.27

Send a Cow - £127

Save the Children - £482.85

Children in Need - £249.80

Macmillan Coffee Morning -£456.77

The Poppy Appeal - £48.40

Total £5019.52 - Well done everyone!

 

Significant funds were also raised by the PTA and were used for DARE, Christmas storytelling, Year 6 leavers' photographer and funds towards the Book Bingo celebration day - thank you to everyone involved.

The Grand Total for the year was an amazing £5223.13. Well done PGPS!

 

The PTA has also been very busy raising money for school - Payments include contributions towards the outdoor gym, paying for theatre groups and photographers.  A big THANK YOU to the PTA for their continued support.
