Welcome to the Lower Key Stage 2 pages! This phase is made up of three classes: Puffins, Doves and Kingfishers. The Puffins are the year three class and are taught by Mrs Asquith and Miss Cheetham. Doves are a mixed class of year 3 and year 4, taught by Mrs Woolley, and Kingfishers are our year 4 class who are taught by Mr Middleton. If you need any of us at any point, please feel free to message us on Class Dojo or catch us at the end of a day!
Our topic subject for the Spring term is geography, where our enquiry will be 'Why do some earthquakes cause more damage than others?'. In Science we are studying animals including humans; in DT we are going to be designing and making our own dips; in Art we are learning about William Morris; and our new PSHE Jigsaw topic is about our 'Dreams and Goals'.
All three classes PPA time is covered by Miss Cox, who teaches PE, and Mr Ambler, who teaches Spanish. The Doves' and Kingfishers' PPA cover will happen on a Monday afternoon and the Puffins' PPA cover will be on a Wednesday afternoon.
