We were delighted to welcome Rebekah Green, Olympic freestyle kayaker, to Pierrepont Gamston on Thursday 25th April. We held a sponsored sporting event and raised over £900 - some of which goes towards funds for vital training, medical and competition costs for Rebekah and the rest goes to help school sports.  The children were amazing and we were really proud of them. Here is what some of the children said after the event: 

“It was really good because I like kayaking”
“Freestyle kayaking looks even more fun than normal kayaking”
“ She inspired me to do more sport”
“Normally I get to kayak when I go on holiday, I would like to do it more”
