Free School Meals

You might qualify if you receive any of the following:
- Universal Credit: With an annual net earned income below £7,400.
- Income Support.
- Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA).
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA).
- Child Tax Credit: But not Working Tax Credit, with an annual income under £16,190.
- Working Tax Credit run-on: For 4 weeks after you stop getting WTC.
- Guarantee element of Pension Credit.
- Support under the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.
Automatic Eligibility (Universal Infant Free School Meals)
- All children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 in state-funded schools automatically get free school meals, regardless of your income.
- We would still encourage you to apply as we will then receive Pupil Premium funding which we can use to subsidise trips and other opportunities for your child throughout their time at PGPS.
